Chinese Leisure Seal. Shou Shan, very attractive.
Attractive Chinese Shou Shan seal ( Shou Shan Qiao Se Qi Jiang 寿山巧色旗降. Rich light brown tone with darker enclosures. Bigger white enclosure at the top has been used to carve a dragon.
Carved by the seal carver Cai Zhaofu 蔡招夫. Engraved are 2 characters, 墨趣 ( Mo Qu – attracted by ink).
Side-carving with text, dedication and the name of the seal carver.
Old, well carved stone in very fine condition.
