Old Chinese Stone Seal with good Carving by Gui Zhi
China 1916: Brownish-grey soapstone, with frosted gloss. Very charming carving with powerful expression. The handle depicts a delicately, skilfully carved lion. The seal reads: ” Ye bai Tang hei ” ( A white leaf in a dark room ).
Date of carving and carvers name at the seal side.
Size: 2 x 2 x 4,8 cm, 44 gram, very fine condition.
