Very attractive leisure seal by the famous seal carver Bai Jiao 白焦. Brownish Shou Shan stone with Foo-Lion as handle.
Engraved are 4 characters: Yu He Ren Ye 予何人也 ( Where do I come from? – A classical quotation).
Side engraving with date (summer 1959) and the name Bai Jiao.
The seal has been designed and engraved extremely well and is surely one of the better seals by Bai Jiao.
Shou Shan stone (subcategory Tao Hua Qiu or Da Shan Dong).
