Chinese Leisure Seal by Zhao Shi 1921
Chinese leisure seal, zisha-stone, carved by the important seal carver 赵石 Zhao Shi (1874-1933).
As seal engraved are 10 characters: 望云漸高鳥．臨水慚游魚 wang yun jian gao niao, lin shui can you yu (Watching a cloud slowly rising high as a bird, looking at the water I feel ashamed of the swimming fish).
Side engraving with date and artist name 辛酉十月古泥.
31 x 30 x 59 mm, good condition. The seal is from 1927.
